The MustHD 5" M501H HDMI field monitor is a versatile while easy to use on-camera monitor that aims to help camera operator (or assistant) focus the camera. With the professional features, it can become a great companion to your video camera and extremely helpful to your filming.
HDMI Input/Output
HDMI output duplicates an input signal and sends it out of from the output port. So you can watch on other monitors at the same time by the loop-through.
Slim, lightweight Design
The M501H is only 290g, very light weight. It gives you freedom to shoot well anywhere. See your picture accurately, consistently and clearly.
Sunhood
This sunhood reduces the reflections during outdoor shooting and protects the LCD screen when folded. It can be installed or uninstalled very easily.
Multiple Battery Compatible
You can power it with Sony F970 batteries, Canon LP-E6 batteries or Panasonic D28S batteries. It can also be powered by AC adapter. The standard battery plate is Sony F970 battery plate.
HDMI Input/Output

Focus Assist (Peaking Red/Green/Blue Optional)
Help shooters to easily find out the exact area in the picture with good focus by adding sharp red (green/blue) outline on the shape or boundaries of the object in the picture. The shooter adjusts the focus control until the red indicator outlines on the desired area are sharp, indicating optimal focus.
Pixel to Pixel
1:1 pixel to pixel mapping allows you to look at parts of your image without any scaling, so you can see the actual detail and not be fooled by scaling artifacts.
Zoom
Support 10%-90% image zoom. User can zoom the selected area of the image.
Other Features
The M501H also has other helpful functions, like false color, safety marker, black and white, aspect, exposure, nine grid, over/under scan, blue only, freeze and camera mode.

Get Started
1.Install Sun-Hood Cover to the Monitor
2.Open / Close the Sun-Hood
Please follow the step sequene to open or close the hood!

3.Install Battery Plate on to the Monitor
The following illustration is based on LP-E6 battery. F970 / D28S are basically the same.
1). Put the plate at the right position on the monitor back cover.
2).Slide it backwardly to the utmost.
3).If needed, use the four screws that come with the package to fix the plate more tightly.
4.Unstall Battery Plate from the Monitor
The following illustration is based on LP-E6 battery. F970 / D28S are basically the same.
1). Press the lock button (do not release the press) while pushing the plate outwardly.
2). Take it upwardly.
5. Install Battery on to the Battery Plate
The following illustration is based on LP-E6 battery. F970 / D28S are basically the same.
1). Put the battery in right position on the plate.
2). Push it inwardly to the utmost.
6. Uninstall Battery from the Battery Plate
The following illustration is based on LP-E6 battery. F970 /D28S are basically the same.
1). Press the lock button inwardly (do not release the press) while pushing the battery outwardly.
2). Take the battery upwardly.
7. Connect DC Power Supply from the Battery Plate
You can also use external DC power by using the adaptor that comes with the package. Please only use the adaptor that comes with the machine; otherwise there maybe potential risk.
8. Fix HDMI Connector
The uniquely-designed HDMI locking mechanism can eliminated accidental disconnection completely.
